Job Title: Chef de partie

I am seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join my cliets dynamic kitchen team! This is a full-time, immediate start position in Amsterdam, offering a great team environment and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen(e.g., grill, sauté, pastry, or vegetables), ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards
* Prepare, cook, and present dishesaccording to recipes and instructions from the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
* Supervise and train junior chefs(commis chefs or demi-chefs) working in your section.
* Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standardsin your work area and throughout the kitchen.
* Manage inventory and ingredient ordersfor your section, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
* Work efficiently under pressurein a fast-paced environment, collaborating with the wider kitchen team.
* Assist in menu development and innovationas required by senior chefs.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experiencein a similar role or in a professional kitchen environment.
* Culinary training or apprenticeship certificationis an advantage.
* Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
