-Plan submarine cable routing in consultation with consortium members, operations staff, and relevant local authorities in Singapore and international waters.
-Stay updated on permitting regulations and ensure compliance to support optimal cable route planning, considering cost and operational requirements.
-Review and approve route survey results.
-Resolve marine incidents and approve recommendations from onboard ship representatives.
-Attend planning and coordination meetings with authorities (e.g., MPA, IMDA) and contractors to address marine cable routing issues.
-Serve as a member of the Marine Working Group during the marine installation phase.
-Maintain and update submarine cable "as-built" and "as-repaired" route information in the GIS database.
Skills for Success

-Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering or a related field
-Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
-Project management skills and experience
-Familiarity with GIS tools and marine survey data interpretation
-Experience working with regulatory authorities and multi-party project coordination.
