Role Overview:
The Weatherization Assistance Program Analyst contributes to fulfilling IHCDA’s mission by providing support for meetings and trainings, developing professional development opportunities for subgrantees, assisting with marketing and communications, becoming a policy expert, and helping with the development of State plans. The Analyst will have the opportunity to participate in Weatherization-specific trainings.
The Weatherization Assistance Program provides updates and work to eligible households that make them more energy efficient, leading to healthier homes and lower energy bills. Indiana typically serves over 800 households every year.
Salary Statement:
This position's salary range $56,700 to $66,700 and is commensurate with education and experience.
A Day in the Life:
Program Strategy (in partnership with Energy and Utility Managers)

-Understand and apply program rules and policies
-Understand and apply all legislation and guidance
-Assist in the preparation of state plans and program manuals/documents
-Prepare, analyze, and discuss data to assist in making informed decisions.
-Conduct research into best practices and provide recommendations
-Think critically and serve as a ‘sounding board’ for manager/team ideas
-Working with the network and software provider to identify bugs in the system, ensuring all are fixed in a timely manner.
-Maintain an extensive knowledge of Weatherization software (WAPLink).
-Consistently understand updates to Weatherization software in order to effectively communicate those changes to others in a timely manner.
-Effectively identify and process questions, concerns or complaints regarding Weatherization software.
Program Implementation

-Create and update SOPs for your job duties
-Assist with the planning and coordinating of training events
-Coordinate document requests from federal funders, internal audit, legislators, etc.
-Assist in drafting subgrantee information/data collection tools
-Track and organize/archive subgrantee-submitted documents
-Provide support for federal reporting
-Client & Subgrantee Customer Service
-Independently respond to and log (as needed) client and subgrantee communications
-Coordinate with Manager and other IHCDA departments as needed to respond to subgrantee/client questions
-Review subgrantee-submitted documents and work with these groups on updates as needed to comply with IHCDA expectations
-Elevate issues to Manager and Director as needed
-Attend and participate in departmental meetings
-Seek out professional development to keep up with the field of interest of your program
-Perform other duties as assigned
This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours which may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and/or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.
