The Role
* Manage a diverse caseload related to possession/evictions, tenancy agreements, housing disputes, and housing disrepair.
* Provide expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of housing law.
* Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
* Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings as necessary.
* Stay updated on relevant legislation and case law to provide informed counsel.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
* Make legal aid applications and access merits of a case.
Skills and Qualifications
* Qualified solicitor with a minimum 1-5 years of experience in housing law.
* Strong understanding of housing law, tenancy regulations, and dispute resolution.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and client management.
