In the role of Director IT Security working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the information technology team reporting to the VP IT Security & CISO. As a global leader in cybersecurity, you will be responsible for shaping and executing enterprise-wide security strategies that protect our digital assets and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems. This role leads a high-performing team across North America, EMEA, and APAC, with full accountability for 24/7 incident response and cyber threat management. You will champion security engineering excellence by overseeing the implementation, and continuous improvement of robust security controls across our infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments. This includes spearheading vulnerability management programs to proactively identify, assess, and remediate risks, as well as drive the evolution of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) framework, ensuring that the right individuals have the right access at the right time. You will also play a crucial role in strengthening Operational Technology security, protecting our critical manufacturing and production systems against emerging threats.
Success in this role requires deep program-level cybersecurity expertise with global implications. You will coordinate resources across internal IT teams, managed service providers, and IT Business Partners, while collaborating with product solution owners across commercial, supply chain, and enabling functions. This role demands a strong ability to embed security into enterprise initiatives while driving execution of the cybersecurity portfolio.
What You’ll Be Brewing:
· Most importantly, you will lead a team of talented colleagues, and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations
· Develop and execute a strategic, forward-looking IT security roadmap aligned with organizational goals and evolving cyber threats.
· Establish and enforce enterprise-wide information security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
· Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor adherence to security policies and identify areas for improvement.
· Design and maintain an effective incident response plan, leading investigations into security breaches and coordinating corrective actions.
· Drive global data protection and compliance efforts, including data loss prevention, detection capabilities, and secure enablement of emerging technologies like AI.
· Safeguard proprietary information and critical initiatives by implementing technologies and policies that reduce the risk of data leakage.
· Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into the system development lifecycle and design secure technology architectures across network, endpoint, and data layers.
· Evaluate and manage third-party security vendors, ensuring effective delivery of services and negotiating security terms in contracts.
· Conduct regular risk and vulnerability assessments, prioritize threats, and implement mitigation strategies to strengthen the organization’s security posture, embed secure development practices throughout the product lifecycle.
· Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team of security professionals, fostering a culture of security awareness and accountability.
· Serve as the technical lead for data protection, privacy, and internal investigations, partnering closely with Legal and Compliance teams. This includes ownership of technology requirements for ethics & compliance, records retention, and data discovery—critical areas managed within the IT Security pillar and supported globally.

· You have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Info Assurance, Cybersecurity or related field
· You have at least 5+ years of experience in a senior-level information security role.
· You bring strong knowledge of IT controls, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.
· You hold industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or an equivalent credential—or are actively working toward them.
· You have a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and best practices.
· You’ve led incident response efforts, managed risk, and contributed to secure architecture design.
· You communicate clearly, lead with confidence, and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
· You collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive security initiatives forward.
· You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities

Pay and Benefits:
At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.
Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $165,400.00 - $217,100.00 (posting salary range) + 25% target short term incentive + target long term incentive + $11,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
