Colgate Palmolive is seeking a highly motivated, pro-active,detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Operations Administrator, supporting the Global Technology teams located in Piscataway ( Oral Care, Clinicals,Tootbrush, Personal Care, Skin Health,Tech Insights, Cross Category Research and Innovation, Predictive Innovation and Statistics,Flavors and Fragrances, Packaging, External Tech Innovation,Implementation and support).
What you will do
Creating, tracking, and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
Collaborating with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs
Addressing any issues or discrepancies related to orders. Acts as main point of contact for PO related activities/issues for CP Global Tech Team , CP Accounts Payable and Suppliers
Ensuring PO’s are open for approved budgets only
Ensuring PO’s accounting and Tax information is accurate ( cost center, GL account, exempt vs non exempt type of purchase )
Ensuring outside research spending PO’s have proper contractual support. Maintains this documentation for audit purposes
Ensuring goods and services are timely received and processed in the system. Follows up with the internal Global Tech stakeholders on open PO’s /pending purchases
Assisting Global Technology internal stakeholders with information regarding their PO spending for their respective areas, by projects, benefit spending area etc
Assisting in the preparation of the Oral Care spending by benefit type Analysis
Preparing analysis of outside research spending by projects for selected area
Preparing analysis of temporary help spending vs approved budgets , by resource and cost center
Ensures approved alternative ways of purchasing ( eg PCards) are used when appropriate and in line with the company policies.
CEB ( fixed assets) coordinator for selected areas:creates CEB projects in the capital management system,coordinates preparation of Budgets with the Global Tech Team (Oral Care, Clinical ), ensures timely capitalization of projects
Required Qualifications
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Min 5 years of relevant work experience
-Proficiency in using Procurement Software(Ariba) and SAP system
-Proficiency in Excel

-Strong organizational and time management skills.
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills
-Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
-Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $93, # - # , # USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
