Regulatory Affairs Manager - Arnhem, the Netherlands

Your role
As Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will be the driving force behind the growth and development of the RA team. You will guide, motivate, and inspire colleagues to achieve outstanding results, while ensuring the RA strategy aligns with the company's overall vision. This is a key leadership role where you'll combine people management with regulatory expertise to deliver impact across the organization.

Your responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the RA team, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Motivate and inspire an international team to achieve both individual and collective goals, strengthening collaboration across borders.
*

Provide clear direction, set measurable objectives, and regularly review progress.
*

Act as a mentor, supporting team members in their professional growth.
*

Translate evolving laws and regulations into effective processes and procedures within the Quality Management System.
*

Plan and coordinate product registrations for new and existing products in line with business strategy.
*

Represent RA in cross-functional projects, embedding regulatory requirements into decision-making.
*

Stay ahead of developments in medical device legislation and standards, sharing knowledge within the team and organization.

Your profile

Master's degree (or equivalent).
*

At least 4 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs within the medical device industry (class III, implants).
*

At least 5 years of proven leadership experience.
*

Knowledge of ophthalmology, especially intraocular lenses, is a strong plus.
*

Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate and gain buy-in from colleagues.
*

Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a structured and detail-oriented mindset.
