We are partnering with a respected and long-standing architectural studio in Portsmouth that is looking for a talented Senior Architect to join its growing team. This practice has built a strong reputation for imaginative, sustainable, and client-driven design, with an impressive portfolio covering commercial, education, healthcare, and mixed-use projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Architect ready to take on more responsibility, lead high-profile projects, and help shape the future of a forward-thinking, design-led studio.

Key Requirements:

* ARB-registered Architect with substantial post-qualification experience in UK practice
* Strong design and technical background with advanced Revit skills (essential)
* In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policy, and RIBA stages
* Proven track record of leading projects from concept through to delivery, ideally within education, healthcare, or commercial sectors
* Confident leadership and communication skills, with experience mentoring and supporting teams
* Ability to handle multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines effectively
* Full UK driving licence
* Based in or within easy commuting distance of Portsmouth

Role Responsibilities:

* Lead projects through all stages, from initial concept to final delivery, maintaining design integrity and technical excellence
* Provide guidance and leadership within the studio, supporting junior colleagues and contributing to a collaborative culture
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, building strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle
* Develop creative, sustainable design solutions that reflect the practice's values
* Ensure all work complies with planning policy, regulations, and industry standards
* Play an active role in shaping the direction of the practice and supporting business development efforts
