What you'll be doing
As our newest Front of House Host, you'll work across both the Jacob's Creek & St Hugo Grant Burge team. The most iconic names in the Barossa Valley!
You'll provide exceptional food, beverage and wine service in our Brand Homes, as well as ensure our guests receive memorable service!
You'll also be responsible for:
-Conducting wine tastings - guiding guests through structured tastings, sharing knowledge about our brand story, the wine varietal, origin and production methods
-Promote and sell wines, merchandise and experience as well as using storytelling and product knowledge to encourage purchases and increase average spend per guest
-wine club sign-ups and membership engagement
-Provide exceptional service from greeting to farewell.
-Handle inquiries, resolve issues professionally, and ensure guests leave with a positive impression.
-Manage POS systems, process transactions, and maintain accurate records
What you'll bring
You will be a passionate lover of wine (or are open to becoming one!) with the highest appreciation for exceptional customer service and quality. You'll have a no job is too small attitude, and be able to work well indepedently as well as in a team.
You'll have strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with people from all walks of life.
You'll also have:
-Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
-Experience in a fast-paced wine-focused environment, or Café or Restaurant environment
-Proven track record in a sales environment
-Ability to work flexibly across all FOH areas, across precinct
-Demonstrate a passion for wine, and desire to deliver quality wine experiences to customers
-WSET Level 2 or equivalent experience highly advantageous
