Onsite are roles that have specific onsite requirements and are typically onsite daily.
Hybrid fixed are roles that are a blend of onsite work/in-person interactions with some ability to work remotely and require employees to live within a commutable distance and be onsite fixed days each week.
Hybrid flexible are roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work/in-person interactions on a regular basis, require employees to live within a commutable distance and, since business needs vary by position and may change over time, managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.
Fully remote are roles that can be performed remotely, require employees to live in approved states and will have purpose-driven in-person interactions on occasion.

Job Summary
The Corporate Development and Valuation team supports PSEG’s business objectives and helps drive the company’s growth strategy by assessing and evaluating investment and growth opportunities across the company. The Senior Analyst will focus on organic growth initiatives in both regulated (PSE&G) and deregulated businesses (PSEG Power, Renewable Transmission), including but not limited to evaluating regulated Distribution and Transmission investments, special regulatory programs/filings (e.g. Energy Strong, Clean Energy Future), competitive transmission, battery storage and nuclear-related capital investment and offtake opportunities.
This is a high-impact role with visibility across the broader organization, offering a chance to directly contribute to major investments or initiatives that shape the company’s future.
Job Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and utilize financial models to assess the value and risks of investment opportunities, and provide clear, concise and insightful executive communications of the assumptions, value drivers and results.
• Apply financial and analytical expertise to support other Lines of Business in evaluating the market landscape and shaping market and regulatory policies.
• Support cross-functional teams during project development by providing financial insights and valuation support.
• Research market trends, policy developments, and competitive dynamics to support the company’s business objectives and inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with teams across Development, Engineering, Regulatory, Legal and Finance to advance projects from concept through management review.
• Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for senior management, and provide recommendations regarding the financial and commercial impacts of structural and financing alternatives.
Job Specific Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering; other degrees acceptable if candidate can relate studies to position requirements
-Minimum of 5 years energy industry experience or financial modeling
Required Competencies:
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze and conduct financial modeling
-Strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to translate complex data and information into clear and concise insights
-Demonstrated skills to partner with but provide independent guidance to business project sponsors.
-Intellectually curiosity
-Proactive, self-starter mindset
-Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
-Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
Desired:
-MBA or other relevant advanced degree
