About the role

As a Category Management Analyst you will drive the development of the Oral Care category across a variety of customers by proposing strategies and tactical plans to unlock its potential. You will serve as a key link between the commercial team and customers, providing valuable insights and information to identify and capture new business opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

-Analyze the performance of these categories with tools such as Nielsen to identify opportunities in assortment and shelf presentation.
-Develop planograms that reflect agreed-upon strategies with clients, utilizing programs such as Spaceman and JDA.
-Regularly generate management reports (scorecards) to monitor category performance and ensure follow-up and control of key business KPIs.
-Create Catman opportunities with key clients by collaborating throughout the process and implementing solutions in stores.
-Analyze shopper insights by category and by client to inform Catman processes and continuously improve our strategy and tactical development.
-Provide information to Consumer Insights to enhance expertise on consumer needs and the purchase decision hierarchy, tailored to different retail environments and key customers.
-Analyze category dynamics for key clients, including 5P analysis of CP and competitors, to adapt CP category strategies and tactics to the individual needs of each customer.
-Offer objective expertise to customers, building trust while maintaining confidentiality with privileged information.
-Regularly update category analyses to share insights on trends, opportunities, and competitive benchmarks.
-Ensure that new products are presented in the broader category context and leverage buyer and consumer insights to support recommendations.
-Guarantee that customer management and store staff receive training and tools for relevant, user-friendly, value-added category management, and support the execution of 5P strategies and tactics (including trainings and visual/informative materials).
Mandatory Qualifications:

-Bachelor's D
egree in Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields (Or ongoing)
-At least 1 year of experience as a Catman or Commercial roles (Commercial Intelligence, Commercial Planning, Sales, Market Research) (Can include 1-year internships)
-Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency
 

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience with planogram software (Spaceman, Prospace/Space Planning) 
-Experience with Nielsen or Kantar 
-Experience in mass consumption companies
-Master’s Degree/Specialization
