The Sustainability & Data Management Specialist will help drive CP’s climate action, water security and sustainability data management processes. The role requires subject matter expertise in corporate climate and water programs, utilizing data-driven risk and opportunity assessments to inform environmental sustainability strategy and disclosures. Additionally, the role would help support and implement Colgate Palmolive’s evolving sustainability data management and reporting program as the sustainability team transitions to a more efficient and digital approach.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Climate Risk Management support

-Supports partnerships with GSC, Finance, PLC & ESG to develop global climate risk identification and mitigation processes related to Climate Scenario Analysis and Monetization of risks and opportunities.
-Work with PLC/ERM on piloting Climate Risks Assessment tools from 3rd parties (e.g. Marsh) and work w/ CP Network Operations to understand potential integration opportunities.
-As a Climate SME, ensures ongoing calibration and alignment of climate risk-related activities and other key external standards, regulations and stakeholders as they evolve.
Water Security strategy support

-Provides support and technical subject matter expertise to drive the ongoing evolution, embedding and implementation of CP’s Water Security Strategy covering UpstreamSupply Chain, Direct Operations, Consumer Use, WASH and Nature.
-Coordinates the cross-functional Water Security Task Force to assess, mitigate, and report legal, utility/infrastructure and source risks related to water in our supply chain. Supports processes (e.g. Waterplan) to help quantify water risks within CP’s supply chain, and ensures GSC ownership of the process and results.
-Supports the 2026 launch and roll out of CP’s 2030 Water Security action. Develops and helps deliver training/webinars on the 2030 Water Security action and targets, initially across manufacturing sites and divisions.
-Assists Manufacturing sites/divisions in developing their Water Security Roadmaps in Waterplan in accordance with CP’s 2030 Water Security targets.
-Builds and maintains relationships and partnerships with relevant Water NGOs, such as UNGC CEO Water Mandate/WRC, Water for People, etc.
Sustainability Data Strategy & Governance

-Data Collection Protocol
: Works closely and collaboratively with Financial Checks & Controls and ESG teams to establish, maintain and manage the Data Collection Protocol to ensure completeness and accuracy of Sustainability KPIs for internal and external reporting.
-Data Governance for Regulatory Reporting
: works with the ESG Controller team to develop and maintain Data Controls in support of regulatory audit readiness.
-Manage Sustainability KPIs
: Builds a sense of shared commitment to internal Sustainability Data collection and submission across the organization and ensures monthly or quarterly KPI tracking by Business Function, Division and Facility is provided by the appropriate leaders.
-CP’s ESG Reporting Task Force
: provides climate and water expertise, and collaboratively monitors ESG trends and regulations for the CPG industry to inform ongoing climate and water target-setting, disclosure and reporting.
Required Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Sustainability Management, Engineering, Risk Management, or other related fields
-5+ years experience in Sustainability, Water Stewardship/Security, Climate Risk Assessments/Management and Sustainability Data Management, preferably with brand/CPG organizations
Preferred Qualifications:

-Advanced Strategic thinking and strategy setting and implementation experience
-Experience with sustainability data management systems
-Advanced understanding of Supply Chain Management
-Ability to work across various functions (e.g. procurement, logistics, manufacturing, legal, finance, marketing, engineering etc.) and regions
-Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks
-Experience with large complex initiatives with global teams and task forces
-Experience working w/ 3rd party vendors and NGOs
-Master’s degree in related field
-Advanced understanding of: Net Zero Carbon, Energy, Water Security, Data Mgmt, Supply Chain
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $94,000.00 - $133,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
