Head of Data Governance

Worcester

£90,004 - £94,742 per year plus Company car or car allowance

35 hours per week – 9:00am to 5:00pm

This role sits in Data Management Team as part of Technology which is responsible for delivering Technology capability within Sanctuary Group to ensure employees have access to the systems they need to perform their duties.  The direct team for this role consists of 2 Data Quality Improvement Managers and 1 Data Quality Analyst reporting into the Head of Data Governance role.

The role of
Head of Data Governance
will include:

-Leading the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Data Governance capabilities across the Group
-Establishing policies, standards and frameworks that ensure data is accurate, secure, ethically managed and aligned with Sanctuary's strategic objectives
-Ensure data risks are clearly articulated and escalated in accordance with Risk Matrix in a timely and efficient manner
-Develop and deliver a communication plan to promote awareness and understanding of data governance principles
 

Skills and experiences:

-DAMA certification (or Data Management industry equivalent)
-Extensive experience implementing Data Stewardship within a complex organization
-Substantial experience of diagnosing and resolving data issues
-Substantial experience of managing and motivating people

-Role salary is £76,210 with an additional policy allowance of £13,794 per annum (rising to £80,221 with an additional policy allowance of £14,520 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
