Job Purpose:
The IT Training Intern will be responsible for delivering training content & maintaining documentation for IT software programs for Beacon employees. Responsibilities of team members include delivering live training session, updating step-by-step instructions, creating demonstration videos, and supporting IT Training Team. This role will report directly to the IT Training Manager, ERP.
Duties & Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the IT Training Team:
Deliver Software training and assistance of acquired companies remotely
Edit end user documentation including step-by-step instructions & reference manuals
Maintain Attendance Records & Tracking documents for completed training sessions
Record training videos for ERP System and other company used software programs
Learn new IT programs, company processes, and training technology tools
Qualifications:
Excellent communication, relationship building, and problem-solving skills – both written and verbal – required
Demonstrable analytical, interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal – required
Demonstrate strong attention to detail, document writing, and proof-reading skills – required
Proficient skill with Computer Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) – required
Strong understanding of e-learning design, training programs and video creation – preferred
Proficient problem-solving skills, efficient Time management plans, and project prioritization – required
Experience with delivering training in-person or remotely – preferred
Proficient experience creating training videos and e-learning courses – preferred
Experience with TechSmith Camtasia, Adobe Connect, & Microsoft SharePoint (or equivalent) – preferred
Professional written and verbal communication skills – preferred
