Responsible Individual / Operations Manager
Pay: GBP65,000-GBP70,000 (flexible depending on experience)
Location: Darlington
Our client, a small but ambitious care organisation in the North East, is looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join their team as a Responsible Individual/Operations Manager. This pivotal role sits between the Board of Directors and the Registered Managers of both an Independent Fostering Agency (IFA) and a Children's Residential Home.
You will work closely with the Director , overseeing day-to-day operations of both services. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role where your input and expertise will directly shape the organisation's future.

Responsibilities:
* Oversee and support the Registered Managers of both the IFA and Children's Residential Home
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (Ofsted) and uphold the organisation's model of care
* Provide guidance, supervision, and empowerment to managers to help them deliver the highest quality outcomes for children and young people
* Contribute to service development, including playing a key role in the service's expansion plans
* Maintain strong working relationships with foster carers, staff, and external stakeholders
* Oversee the day to day operations of both services
Requirements:
* Strong management/leadership experience within children's social care (IFA, residential, or related setting)
* Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to empower and support managers
* Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, policies and procedures
* A values-driven approach, aligned with the organisation's ethos and model of care
* Flexibility to travel to the children's home and head office as required
