A compressed air company are looking for a Service Engineer to cover the Bedfordshire and South East area, You will be a qualified Engineer with previous experience working on compressed air system, this role offers hands-on training, professional development opportunities, and a welcoming work environment, this is the perfect role for an enthusiastic Service Engineer looking to make a real impact.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain, repair, and install compressed air systems and related equipment at customer sites within a 30-mile radius of Bedford.
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify and resolve system issues using standard tools and techniques.
- Work independently on smaller jobs and collaborate with team members for larger projects.
- Build trust with customers by providing clear communication and tailored solutions for their compressed air needs.
- Log accurate job reports promptly to ensure smooth operations.
- Occasionally carry out repairs in the company's Bedford workshop under the guidance of the Service Manager.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven hands-on experience in a Service Engineer role with strong electrical and mechanical skills.
- Expertise in scheduled maintenance, diagnosing breakdowns, and performing repairs.
- Relevant qualifications or training to support your experience.
- Previous experience working with compressed air or similar systems.
- A full UK driving licence, with adaptability and strong communication skills.
