Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The Senior Specialist IBP plays an important role in supporting the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process within adidas Emerging Markets. This role focuses on data accuracy, system execution, and technical analysis to ensure efficient demand planning, reliable forecasts, and smooth process flows. By maintaining data integrity and supporting planning cycles, the Specialist IBP enables informed decision-making and helps drive operational efficiency across markets.
Key Responsibilities:

-Support the monthly IBP cycle by preparing data inputs, updating systems, and ensuring timely submissions.
-Maintain accuracy and completeness of data in the working files and related planning tools.
-Generate standard and ad-hoc reports to support business planning, ensuring consistency and compliance.
-Perform technical analysis of historical sales, forecasts and trends to support demand planning discussions.
-Provide technical support in system enhancements and data integration (IBP, SAC, Power BI, M-3).
-Ensure alignment of planning calendars, deadlines, and documentation across clusters.
-Collaborate with Demand Planning cluster teams to validate inputs and resolve discrepancies.
-Monitor KPIs such as forecast accuracy and invalid combinations, escalating issues where necessary.
-Support scenario analysis and data simulations under the guidance of the Senior Manager.
-Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and proposing technical solutions.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

-University degree in Business Administration/Finance/Controlling
-Comprehensive understanding of system landscape (IBP, SAC, Power BI, M-3 & master data systems)
-2+ years working experience in Finance department
