Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will ensure the safe and efficient handling of materials within our warehouse facility, playing a critical role in our order processing operations. The shift is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. The rate of pay is $21.00 an hour.

Primary Duties
-Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and stack products within the warehouse.
-Inspect forklifts daily prior to use to ensure they are in safe operating condition and report any maintenance needs promptly.
-Assist in the picking, packing, and processing of customer orders with high accuracy and attention to detail.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse work area to support safety and productivity standards.
-Collaborate closely with warehouse team members and supervisors to coordinate the flow of materials and meet operational deadlines.
-Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations to promote a safe workplace.
-Keep accurate records of inventory movements and report any discrepancies to the inventory control team.

Qualifications
-Demonstrated experience operating forklifts or similar equipment in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
-Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
-Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
-Good physical stamina to handle the demands of material handling, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
-Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with team members and supervisors.
-Basic math and computer skills to assist with inventory management and order processing systems.

Education / Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience as a forklift operator or in warehouse order processing is highly desirable. OSHA forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring is required.
