Job Summary
National Pipe & Plastics, one of the largest PVC pipe producers in North America, is currently seeking a Yard Quality Inspector for the shipping and receiving area.
Job Responsibilities
-QA load checks for all loads
-Conduct visual inspections for legible print line, gasket defects, chamfer, bell, fading, and any other issues of pipe
-Confirm all products being shipped with PO is accurate
-Confirm correct product makes it on the truck
-Confirm packaging is correct safe and secure for each bundle

-Number of boards and banding
-Number of pieces per bundle
-Identify any physical damage to product from yard handling and report through the proper channels
-All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements

-High School diploma or GED or equivalent Vocational Training/Certification, other related experience or combination thereof
-At least 1 year of related experience, preferred
-Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and directions
-Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
-Computer literate experienced with Microsoft Office software
-Ability to work in the outdoor elements
-Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
