What You Will Do:
- Lead the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes to ensure exceptional quality in production.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust process controls to enhance product consistency and reduce waste.
- Monitor and analyse manufacturing data, driving quality improvements and proposing innovative solutions.
- Resolve customer quality concerns with thorough root cause analysis and corrective actions using tools like 8D and DMAIC.
- Support the introduction of new products and processes, ensuring compliance with documented procedures.
- Manage supplier quality issues and maintain effective communication to achieve quality objectives.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in Quality and Process Engineering within an AS9100 Rev D or ISO9001 manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and SPC.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Familiarity with process engineering tools like Time-study, Value Stream Mapping, and Control Plans.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
