Who we're looking for:
Reporting to the Director, Business Tech Evolution, the Senior Manager, Cross-Channel Solutions plays a critical role in defining and governing reusable backend capabilities across all Rogers Business digital and agent-facing channels. This role is designed to drive strategic alignment, streamline operations, and enable scalable delivery across platforms through a “build once, serve many” approach.
What you’ll do:
-Define and maintain a comprehensive capability matrix across all Rogers Business applications.
-Own and evolve the cross-channel capability roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.
-Lead cross-functional design sessions and solution reviews to ensure consistency and eliminate duplication.
-Champion a “build once, serve many” approach to backend services, consolidating tooling and streamlining operations.
-Collaborate with middleware, delivery, and product teams to drive API and service reuse.
-Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation (e.g., system context, data flow, sequence, and security diagrams).
-Ensure solutions meet critical non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security).
-Guide vendor teams and manage risks to ensure smooth execution of delivery plans.
-Track and report on architectural initiatives and blockers, maintaining high-quality technical outcomes.

What you bring:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (required)
-10+ years of technology experience in a large enterprise IT or Engineering department
-Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native solutions
-Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TM Forum Frameworx (Open API, TAM, eTOM, SID)
-Experience in telecommunications preferred
-Strong decision-making, consensus-building, and conflict resolution skills
-Continuous improvement mindset and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities
-Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
-Demonstrated interest in learning and professional development
