What will your typical day look like?
Deloitte Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant specializing in Sourcing and Procurement to join our consulting team based in Canada. As a Senior Consultant, you’ll leverage your experience working with all aspects of Sourcing and Procurement, from intake, sourcing, contract lifecycle management, through to procure to pay. You’ll drive innovative work as we look to expand our service offering with new transformation projects. You’ll lead with strong with operational process and design decision making experience, while also having developed accumen and relative experience with technology projects.
Wherever it may be, you will manage best-in-class strategy projects, advanced analytics to drive cost reductions and performance improvement, and technology transformations with clients that come to Deloitte to help solve their pressing concerns.

The Deloitte Supply Chain & Network Operations Consulting practice is the largest in the Canadian market and part of the largest consulting firm in the world and growing. We work hand-in-hand with our clients from virtually every industry to improve business performance, drive shareholder value and create competitive advantage. Our work involves developing innovative recommendations to address client issues and present the findings to senior executives. Depending on the project, we evolve this storyline into a strategic roadmap and detailed project plan for execution. Ensuring client success does not stop there. We also collaborate with clients through the implementation to see the vision become a reality.
The focus does not stop with the client. There are endless options for internal projects that individuals might be passionate about leading or joining: market research, proposals, recruiting, innovation labs, strategy development, AI joint-ventures, and career coaching/mentorship just to name a few.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You are someone who:
• Has a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of overall consulting and/or industry experience with Supply Chain Sourcing & Procurement. Minimum of 2-3 years experience in specifically consulting from a major consultancy or Big 4 firm demonstrating full understanding of the consulting delivery lifecycle, stakeholder management, etc.
• Demonstrates expertise in some of the following Supply Chain Sourcing & Procurement specializations: Spend Management & Analytics, Sustainable Strategic Sourcing (Direct & Indirect), Process and Technology Implementations, Supplier Relationship Management, Value Chain Risk Management, etc.
• Demonstrates understanding of the full Source to Pay lifecycle, from intake, to sourcing, to procurement, through to invoicing and working through process assessments, mapping and future state process improvement
• Has experience and continued interest working alongside or within technology projects from planning through to deployment. This includes design documentation, understanding of data migration and integrations, testing and go-live planning.
• Demonstrates experience developing and delivering high quality client deliverables, assessments, workshop facilitation, and presentation that involves senior stakeholders
• Is committed to professional and client service excellence
• Is comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with pressing deadlines and constantly changing priorities, and operates with minimal supervision
• Has superior verbal and written communication skills and demonstrates the ability to work effectively in teams
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
