-Use advanced data analytics to identify new revenue opportunities and drive incremental customer behavior through B2B programs
-Foster relationships and lead discussions with stakeholders across the company that are focused on driving long term value to American Airlines (including RM, AAdvantage, Sales, Customer Insights & Loyalty, Cobrand, Customer Experience)
-Utilize statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and other analytical methods to analyze data and develop practical solutions to business problems in a fast paced environment
-Develop performance metrics and analytical tools to improve customer profitability and planning/forecasting processes
-Align teams around commercial strategies, key objectives and success metrics, maintaining clear communication across teams and ensuring cross-functional actions are completed
-Translates complex models in business friendly terms to gain buy-in-from leaders
-Synthesize complex challenges and data to create actionable insights for concise communications and strategic decisioning
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/training
-Minimum 3 years of related work experience, or Master’s degree in a related field
Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
-Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools including Excel, Tableau/PowerBI, SQL
-Strong communication skills with ability to present strategic analysis to senior leadership
-Experience in airline Sales, Network Planning, Revenue Management, Commercial, or analytical field
Skills, Licenses, and Certifications
-Eager to solve complex problems and puzzles in a constrained and dynamic environment
-Ability to leverage understanding of the airline business and commercial goals to draw insights, drive results, and create innovative solutions
-Adaptive to new ideas and business processes in an ever-changing marketplace
-Ability to perform in cross-functional groups with minimal supervision to drive outcomes which benefit the entire airline
-Skilled at sharing knowledge to develop the expertise of the team as a whole
-Advanced Microsoft Office skills
