Prestigious Enterprise Company is currently seeking a Senior Tandem NonStop Systems Engineer. Candidate will Lead Guardian OS, Network, and other major software release planning and implementation. You will be instrumental in configuring, planning, and managing implementation of system hardware upgrades and function as a technical lead on larger projects while planning projects and implementations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain 24x7 uptime on the NonStop systems including client related connectivity, application, and platform issues
Establish and implement auditing standards and present evidence to the auditors (internal and external) for PCI, FFIEC, and SOC assessments
Work with business leaders to provide support, advice, and guidance on the correct application of a products/technology solutions
Perform Tier 3 Security functions such as build and support Nonstop security infrastructure
Provide troubleshooting support to level 1 & level 2 support groups
Installing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading NonStop systems including operating systems and applications using Guardian, Safeguard, NS Java, NS7X (X-Series), XP7 Storage, EMC Data Domain, Comforte, XYPRO security suites, Gravic, Shadowbase, MQ, Control-M, Prognosis, NCI-Control & Compare
Collect performance metrics and produce system performance and capacity reports
Qualifications:
6+ years of NonStop systems engineering experience in an enterprise environment with Guardian OS as it relates to network and software release planning
Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience
Preferred Skills:
Strong knowledge of Guardian operating system, system utilities (TACL, MEASURE, TMF), and NonStop software and utilities
Experience with TCP/IP Networking and security protocols
Experience with tools like Splunk, Prognosis, and Moogsoft is often preferred
Knowledge of relevant compliance standards (eg PCI, FFIEC, SOC) is preferred
